Carrier-Based Modulated Model Predictive Control Strategy for Three-Phase Two-Level VSIs

چکیده

The implementation of finite-control-set model predictive control (FCS-MPC) in voltage source inverters (VSIs) can make the system suffer from poor current harmonics performance, which may complicate design required AC filter. To overcome this shortcoming, a carrier-based modulated (CB-MMPC) strategy is proposed paper. This method enables utilization existing PWM modulation techniques with FCS-MPC, where waveform zero-sequence signal injection generated and compared to triangular carrier wave, while optimizing selection switching states. As it shown, studied CB-MMPC not only considerably improves total harmonic distortion (THD) but also attains performance fast dynamic response robustness as traditional FCS-MPC. Herein, detailed given, considering its application feedback loop three-phase three-wire two-level VSI at constant frequency. Finally, PLECS circuit simulation 3-kW prototype are used verify superiority effectiveness presented strategy. benchmarked FCS-MPC dead-beat based controllers.
